Certification
I am certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Nephrology. I am  also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Education
My medical degree is from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. I completed a double residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine.  Following a year working in Pediatric Critical Care, I completed my Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Chicago.

More About Me
I am the author of two medical textbooks: The Microbiology Companion and The Fluid, Electrolyte and Acid-Base Companion.  I am also the chief editor of Kidometer, a pediatric application for the Palm OS.  I blog at the Precious Bodily Fluids website.
