Harper Woods Dialysis Building Dedicated to Local Physician

Harper Woods, Michigan – August 12, 2013 – The newly renovated Harper Woods Dialysis Building located on Vernier across form the Eastland Shopping Center is being dedicated to one of Detroit’s founding Nephrologists in recognition of his service to the Detroit community’s health.  The building is being dedicated by St. Clair Nephrology in honor of Joseph M. Beals, MD.

Dr. Joseph Beals founded St. Clair Nephrology in 1971 and worked to expand the group to serve the greater Detroit and suburban areas where there is a prevalent need for specialized kidney care. Dr. Beals retired from St. Clair Nephrology in 2011.

Dr. Joseph Beals’ dedication to his community and patient care remains the primary focus for St. Clair Nephrology. St. Clair Nephrology provides advanced medical care for those with Chronic Kidney Disease, and also specializes in vascular Surgery, hypertension and transplant medicine. St. Clair Specialty Physicians continues to expand in order to serve the growing needs of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease in Detroit and the surrounding communities.

The dedication event will be held at the Harper Woods Dialysis on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 7:00pm for Dr. Joseph Beals in honor of his commitment to improving the health of the community.
